  • Malachyte

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2026

Malachyte was founded by former Spotify engineers who helped build Spotify’s behavioral intelligence and have been developing the company’s technology since 2024. The company’s core product is a "two-headed Vector AI" that predicts a shopper’s next desired product and learns both long-term preferences and real-time intent, starting before the first click and refining continuously within a session. Malachyte emphasizes using contextual signals (device, time, referral) and in-session actions (hovers, clicks, scrolls, add-to-cart) to update recommendations in real time without requiring an account or purchase history. Before concentrating on e-commerce, the startup worked with more than 20 enterprise customers across travel, grocery and retail and first launched its platform with Fun.com in fall 2025. Since June 2026 it has been generally available to Shopify merchants and offers API integrations for larger retailers. The company says its approach aims to align merchandising and marketing around a unified understanding of customer behavior.

  • Encord

    Participated · Series C · Feb 2026

Encord builds a universal data layer for AI, concentrating on physical AI applications such as robots, autonomous vehicles, and drones. Its cloud platform ingests and organizes multimodal data—including audio, video, sensor feeds, and 3D point clouds—so teams can curate, annotate, and align datasets across the model lifecycle. The company serves more than 300 customers worldwide, among them Woven by Toyota, Zipline, Skydio, and AXA Financial. Over the last twelve months, data stored on Encord’s platform expanded from 1 PB to over 5 PB, while revenue from physical AI customers grew ten-fold. Analysts project an explosion in physical AI deployments, and Encord positions itself as the infrastructure that readies proprietary data for these systems. The newly raised funds will accelerate product development and support entry into additional markets. With the latest round, Encord’s total funding stands at $110 million.
