- Massima Energia
Led · Equity · Jan 2026
Founded in January 2021 by Andrea Manfredi, Massima Energia has built a “customer-centric AI platform” that unifies electricity, gas, mobile connectivity, internet and ancillary services in a single digital environment. The technology is offered directly to roughly 10,000 retail customers and as a white-label solution to utilities, banks, insurers and large retailers, positioning traditional energy suppliers as partners rather than competitors. The company emphasizes data-driven user experiences, high service transparency and holds a Trustpilot rating of 4.6/5. New capital will be used to expand its patent portfolio, enhance profiling algorithms, and accelerate both B2C acquisition and B2B wholesale deployments. Ownership remains founder-controlled: Do It Now spa (linked to Manfredi) retains 79.26%, while institutional, ecosystem and VC backers hold minority stakes. Financially, Massima Energia has just secured a financing package exceeding €10 million that blends equity and venture debt to support its next growth phase.
- Builders
Participated · Equity · Oct 2025
Founded in 2021 by Sharon Klaver and Michael van Lier, Builders operates as a hands-on venture studio that pairs with entrepreneurs to validate products, hire teams, secure funding, and scale enterprise-focused AI companies. The studio has already spun out startups such as Noon, Obeyo, and Influentials (the latter of which was acquired) from an initial €1.5 million raise. With its newly raised capital, Builders is developing proprietary AI tools, expanding founder support programmes, and building a next-generation portfolio that includes Everday, Avery, and Cortena, all of which are preparing for seed rounds. The organisation aims to launch at least four new AI companies annually and ultimately grow that pace to ten through partnerships with other venture builders across Europe. Financially, the latest €3 million infusion brings total studio funding to €4.5 million and moves the firm closer to operational self-sufficiency. Looking ahead, Builders plans to establish a €25 million fund by summer 2026 to back its ventures, follow-on rounds, and European collaborations. By combining data-driven insights with a “in-the-trenches” approach, Builders aspires to become a pan-European hub for AI innovation.
