- Voicetep
Participated · Equity · Nov 2025
Voicetep builds a “next-generation communication platform” that uses AI to analyze natural conversation and enhance human relationships. Its inaugural service, the patent-registered voice-based dating app “Voicestep,” debuted on iOS in April 2025 and lets users meet by talking before exchanging photos or texts. Four months after launch the company added an “AI conversation skills diagnosis” feature and continues to layer on AI-powered communication coaching. The app’s user base has grown at an average 1.99× per month, and 79 % of couples who progressed to their first video call moved on to the next step, demonstrating a high “gapless” rate between online and offline impressions. Revenue is partially subscription-based (“some features paid”), but no figures were disclosed. Looking ahead, Voicetep plans to extend its voice-and-AI model from romance into marriage, family and workplace communication. The company is headquartered in Izumo, Shimane Prefecture and is led by Co-CEOs Masahiro Goto and Akihiko Kakita.

Toggle Holdings develops AI products and solutions—notably its "toggle agent"—to automate workflows end to end and also operates digital infrastructure for the real-estate sector. The company positions its technology to be applicable across industries as it pursues industry-wide AI adoption. Toggle plans to use new capital to expand AI-related functionality, grow through alliances, and hire sales talent to accelerate business growth. The recent financing combined issuance of Class C preferred shares to global institutional investors and bank borrowings, and included secondary share transfers among existing shareholders. Founded in June 2020 and headquartered in Minato-ku, Tokyo, Toggle said the round represents its first engagement with global institutional investors. The company cites its mission to overcome person-dependent knowledge in real estate and drive broader industrial transformation via AI.
- Digzyme
Participated · Series A · Apr 2024
digzyme has developed bioinformatics-driven information platforms (“digzyme Moonlight” and “digzyme Spotlight”) to rapidly search for and engineer enzymes tailored to customer needs. The company is building a high-function enzyme library called “digzyme Designed Library” to accelerate production development for industrial enzymes. Target applications span food, chemicals, detergents, textiles, biomass energy, feed, agriculture, in vitro diagnostics, and research, with enzyme-based synthesis (cell-free systems) highlighted as a growing market. digzyme says its design technology can shorten basic research timelines by roughly one quarter and aims to compress combined R&D and production development time further with the Designed Library. The company has begun partnerships with corporates (including Fuji Nihon Seito) and reorganized its food-facing team; Takuo Miyauchi joined as director and CSMO to push food-industry initiatives. Financially, digzyme launched development in April 2024 under a ¥730M Series A budget that also includes loans and a NEDO DTSU STS grant to accelerate product and library development.
- AGRI SMILE
Participated · Series A · Sep 2023
AGRI SMILE develops software-driven agricultural DX solutions and residue-derived biostimulants, covering activities from cultivation to sales and academic collaboration. Its business is organized into R&D for biostimulants, a KAISEKI analytics service, a direct-to-consumer sales channel (産直プライム), and an Academia Hub for joint research. The company works with a network of over 150 JA cooperatives; in one JA it has analyzed roughly 1.2 billion produce items and its partner regions handle about ¥100 billion in produce value.
