Oonair is a Barcelona-based video technology startup that provides web and mobile peer-to-peer video communication tools and solutions to online shops worldwide. Its product portfolio includes Share&Buy, which allows users to share content from e-commerce sites via video chat by accessing buyers’ contact lists on Facebook and other social networks. The company is led by Rafa Terradas (President), Rama Aysola (Chief Executive Officer) and Iván Zaguirre (Chief Technical Officer) and also maintains offices in San Francisco. According to Spanish sources, Oonair raised 600k in funding from existing investors Highgrowth Partners and BCN Emprèn, the company’s founders, and new investors Venturcap and Telegraph Hillgroup. The Centre for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI) provided a long-term loan as part of the financing.
