Founded in 2017 by Amr Abodraiaa, Moaaz Hossam, Mahmoud Eldefrawy and Bassam Khallaf, Rology operates a zero-setup, AI-accelerated teleradiology platform covering 12 radiology sub-specialties and eight imaging modalities. The system boasts 99.89% clinical accuracy, up to 25% cost savings on diagnostic reporting, and delivers reports within 30 minutes. To date, the company has produced more than 1.3 million radiology reports for over 300 hospitals in 13 countries, supported by a network of 200+ radiologists and credited with impacting 1.2 million lives. Rology has released eight AI tools that automate disease reporting, enable early diagnosis, and optimise radiologist workflows using agentic AI, large language models, and foundation models. In 2023, the firm expanded regionally by acquiring Saudi-based Arkan United. Proceeds from its latest funding will accelerate roll-out across the MEA region, reinforce its position in Saudi Arabia, and deepen reach into low- and middle-income countries.
