CasaOne operates a furniture rental platform that provides a wide selection of products, 3D visualizations, rent-to-own options and fast delivery and assembly, typically within 2–3 business days. The company also offers a commercial furniture rental solution called BureauOne and provides expert space planning and design guidance. CasaOne is operational in 10 markets, including San Francisco, Greater Los Angeles, San Diego, greater New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia, Connecticut, Washington DC, and Chicago. Led by CEO Shashank Shankaranarayana, the business aims to streamline the process of furnishing spaces for individuals and businesses. The company plans to use new funding to support overall growth and expand into additional product categories within furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E). Financially, CasaOne has previously raised a $16m Series B led by Accel in September 2019 and recently secured additional capital via debt financing. CasaOne provides a full-service furniture rental solution for homes and offices, including wide product selection, 3D visualizations, white-glove delivery and installation, flexible monthly plans, and rent-to-own options. The company launched its category-defining furniture rental solution in 2017 and expanded into a B2B offering, BureauOne, in May 2019 to convert FF&E into a utility for businesses. CasaOne says it has seen a rapidly growing portfolio of consumer and B2B clients and now operates in six U.S. markets (Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, the San Francisco Bay Area, and Washington, D.C.). The business emphasizes technology for real-time inventory, supply chain, and large-format logistics to deliver fast SLAs. With the new financing, CasaOne plans to expand to new geographies, double down on engineering and technology hiring, and expand into adjacent product categories. The company also intends to launch London as its first international market in Q1 2020.
