Botalys is a Belgian pioneer in hydroponic precision farming, using a controlled-environment platform to reproduce ideal growth conditions for rare medicinal plants. Its technology produces 100% pure, clinically ultra-premium botanicals aimed at the nutraceutical and cosmetic markets while preserving plants' natural biotopes. The company operates a factory and an R&D center in Ghislenghien dedicated to developing new plants and innovative derivatives. Botalys aims to deploy its platform across additional medicinal plants and to expand commercially in American and Asian markets. It seeks to become the largest vertical farm in Belgium and a global leader in rare medicinal-plant cultivation. Prior public backing and grants have supported its industrial development and R&D efforts.

MySkillCamp, founded in 2016 in Tournai, is a Belgian digital learning and workplace training platform that provides an LCMS used to create, manage and administer professional training in spaces called “Camps.” The platform incorporates courses, quizzes, media, projects, discussions, certificates, events, learning communities, one‑on‑one mentoring and analytics dashboards for HR to monitor employee progress. The company announced a €1 million funding round backed by new and existing investors including LeanSquare, Seederfund, WapInvest and SIBA. MySkillCamp says it will use the funding to further develop its platform into a modern, centralized, participatory, scalable and unified learning environment that connects necessary third‑party and proprietary tools. To support platform development it plans to recruit experienced developers, web designers and AI developers in early 2019, then strengthen its marketing department to target new customers. Current clients named in the article include D’Ieteren, Thalys, Sodexo, Spadel and IFAPME Charleroi, who use the platform for employee training and professional development. CEO Kevin Tillier said the product aims to decompartmentalise teams, facilitate internal collaboration and anticipate future recruitment needs.
