Revere builds a ratings system and research product that evaluates emerging venture fund managers using data provided by the firms. It scores managers across 20 categories grouped into five areas: sourcing, team, value add, track record and firm management, and produces heat maps and research reports. The 11-person startup has written over 80 reports, hosts more than 100 funds on its platform, and typically produces a report in about two weeks. Revere charges limited partners on a per-rating basis or via a monthly subscription and does not charge fund managers; the company says millions have been invested in funds as a result of its reports. Over time Revere plans to use accumulated data to establish performance benchmarks for the asset class and to scale report production if demand increases. The company does not rely on AI to draw conclusions, and its founders acknowledge that qualitative judgment could introduce subjectivity and invite skepticism from some investors. Revere is an invite-only online marketplace and capital markets network connecting CRE brokers, developers, owners, lenders, and investors. The platform lets equity, debt, and investment sales teams manage the entire capital markets workflow from sourcing to close, and provides profiles, searchable first‑party capital markets data, matchmaking algorithms, and workflow automation. There is no commission on transactions; members pay a flat monthly fee. Launched in May 2021 and based in New York, Revere has onboarded 500+ companies and has $1.0 billion of transactions slated for the first half of 2022. The product supports single assets, portfolios, and funds across property types and locations and enables deal marketing, feedback aggregation, touring, and term‑sheet comparison on a single dashboard. Revere says its engineering team includes four ex‑Googlers and plans to grow engineering, product, sales, and marketing teams with support from its investors. The company positions itself as a Bloomberg‑like tool for CRE capital markets and emphasizes access to thousands of dealmakers. Revere offers monthly subscription boxes of plant-based workout and energy drink powders formulated with ingredients such as pea protein, sweet potato powder, tart cherry and green tea. The mixes are vegan and free from gluten, nuts and soy, and include distinct pre- and post-workout options. Customers personalize boxes by answering questions about age, body type, activity level and workout routines. The company launched with a $2 million seed round to support early growth. Revere plans to deploy much of the new capital on customer support and outreach to scale its direct-to-consumer e-commerce business. Founders Matthew Scott, Alex Blodgett and Jasper Nathaniel emphasize science-backed product development and rely on an advisory board that includes PhDs in nutrition and exercise physiology and a professional fitness trainer.
