Cardiovolt.ai developed the AI-ECG Risk Estimation (AIRE) platform to extract signals from standard ECGs that are not visible to human clinicians. The platform has been validated across about 6 million ECGs spanning four continents and the work has been published in The Lancet Digital Health, European Heart Journal, and JAMA Cardiology. The technology traces its origins to research conducted in Fu Siong Ng's lab at the National Heart and Lung Institute, Imperial College. The company says it is moving from research into clinical reality and recently raised a £1.44M pre-seed round to provide runway for that transition. Supporters and partners named in the fundraising announcement include Twin Path Ventures, Innovate UK, Imperial Enterprise Lab, Future Worlds, AI SuperConnector, and the London Institute for Healthcare Engineering. The team emphasizes the scientific foundation and peer-reviewed validation as central to its development and go-to-clinic plans.
