Kindof operates two core units: “2000Atelier,” which designs and manufactures stage costumes for K-POP acts such as BLACKPINK, aespa, LE SSERAFIM and IVE, and “2000Archives,” a B2C fashion label that commercializes those looks for fans. By converting on-stage exposure into consumer demand, the company reports high repeat-purchase rates and has been profitable since 2023. Revenue has grown at more than 2× annually, with overseas sales already surpassing 30% of total revenue, and its Instagram account has amassed over 100,000 followers without paid marketing. Kindof integrates data analytics, operational optimization and AI-based design automation to create a scalable ‘fast-haute couture’ supply chain that meets ultra-short lead times while maintaining high quality. The leadership team combines finance and high-fashion expertise, with CEO Sunbin Kim coming from a hedge-fund background and Creative Director Daeun Hong trained at Central Saint Martins. With its brand-house strategy, the company intends to vertically integrate additional K-lifestyle labels on top of its existing infrastructure. Proceeds from the latest funding will be used to upgrade design and manufacturing capabilities to support rapid, high-end production.
