Impossible Finance operates an incubator and launchpad for early-stage DeFi projects, offering fundraising, consulting and expert support from a team of DeFi veterans. The team includes Calvin Chu, formerly of Binance Research. The project initially launched on Binance Smart Chain and plans to expand integrations to Ethereum, Polygon (MATIC) and other Layer 2 solutions. The company completed a strategic funding round that netted $7.0 million from a wide syndicate of institutional and angel investors. A total of 125 institutional and angel investors participated in the round. Named backers and supporters include multiple venture firms and individual angels active in crypto and DeFi.
