  NowForce builds mobile and cloud-based emergency response solutions for security, campus security and public safety organizations. Its products include personal safety and SOS apps, a cloud-based computer aided dispatch (CAD) system and mobile response tools such as blue-force tracking. Led by CEO Assaf Shafran, the company is based in Washington, DC and Jerusalem and was founded in 2008. NowForce has a global presence with representatives in EMEA, APAC and South America. The company raised $4.5M in a Series B to support growth in key markets for its dispatch and mobile solution. It also plans to use the funding to enable deeper collaboration with Verint’s Situational Awareness Platform. NowForce provides on-demand mobile applications to emergency response organizations, security companies and government agencies including EMS, fire, military, police, security and volunteer organizations. The company employs a SaaS plug-and-play model that runs on responders' existing GPS-enabled mobile phones so every responder, in-vehicle, on-foot or off-duty, stays connected to the network. Its core product is a cloud-based command-and-control platform enabling mobile connectivity and coordination for responders. NowForce intends to use the new funding to increase sales and marketing efforts in North America, Europe and Africa. Financially, the company closed a $4M funding round. Founded in 2008, NowForce plans to expand its market reach with the added capital.
