Led · Seed · Dec 2025
AllScale operates a stablecoin payment infrastructure offering tools for cross-border payments, payroll, billing, reconciliation and collections, and supports USDC and USDT across multiple blockchain networks. Its platform includes cross-chain automatic transfer and swap capabilities, risk-management and transaction monitoring features, and offers non-custodial solutions for small businesses while providing custodial options for larger companies. The company reports over 1.5 million registered wallets on its payment network. AllScale completed a $5 million seed round led by YZi Labs with participation from Informed Ventures and Aptos Foundation in late 2025. Through a recent strategic investment and partnership with Animoca Brands, AllScale will work to expand stablecoin payment solutions across Animoca’s 600+ portfolio companies and to enable agentic, AI-driven payment flows. The company positions its infrastructure to simplify international operations and reduce costs for businesses by automating transfers and supporting treasury and reconciliation workflows.
- TransCrypts
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
Founded in 2020 by Zain Zaidi and Ali Zaheer, TransCrypts offers a centralized, blockchain-enabled SaaS platform for background checks and employment verification, returning ownership of verified records to users while streamlining compliance for employers. The company already serves more than 4 million users and over 450 enterprise customers, including Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 firms. Its technology leverages cryptography and distributed ledgers to combat fraud, deepfakes, and data breaches in identity management. With co-headquarters in Toronto and San Francisco, TransCrypts plans to broaden its product suite from employment credentials into health and educational records. Proceeds from its latest financing will also support scaling of its customer base, compliance with additional privacy and security standards, and team expansion—particularly at the new Toronto office. The company positions itself at the intersection of digital identity, blockchain infrastructure, and credential verification SaaS. To date it has secured $15 million in outside capital, enabling continued growth in a market increasingly focused on secure, user-controlled identity solutions.
- Optain
Participated · Series A · Sep 2025
Optain Health offers a portable robotic retinal camera, integrated AI workflows, and teleophthalmology to enable rapid, non‑invasive screening for eye diseases and systemic risk (oculomics). Its platform detects diabetic retinopathy, glaucoma, age‑related macular degeneration, and assesses cardiovascular risk while delivering teleophthalmology grading in the U.S. The company was co‑created in 2023 by Aegis Ventures and builds on more than a decade of Australian R&D led by Professor Mingguang He. Optain is expanding deployments into primary care, optometry, and health systems with the goal of closing care gaps and improving outcomes with minimal specialist staffing. The company uses teleophthalmology services in the U.S.; its automated disease detection software is not for sale in the U.S. Optain is scaling globally with investments in Australian R&D to support expansion outside the U.S. Optain develops AI-enabled software and hardware that noninvasively diagnose eye and systemic health conditions in real time using photos of the eye. Its portable retinal camera and accompanying AI software enable clinicians to screen for more than 140 eye and systemic conditions at early stages. The company is led by CEO Jeff Dunkel and positions the eye as a gateway to monitor whole-person health. Optain's approach is based on over a decade of research by Professor Mingguang He of the University of Melbourne and the Centre for Eye Research Australia. The company traces its roots to Australian-founded Eyetelligence (launched in 2019), whose clinically validated and regulatory-approved AI products are commercialized across Australia, New Zealand, Europe, Japan and the Middle East. Optain intends to use recent seed funding to expand operations and development efforts.

- Glimpse
Participated · Series A · Apr 2025
Glimpse automates the process of identifying, classifying, and disputing invalid retail deductions by using AI agents that log into retailer portals, centralize documents, classify deductions, and validate changes against internal data such as supply chain records and promotion calendars. When invalid deductions are identified, Glimpse automatically files disputes, follows through on resolution and cash recovery, and syncs outcomes back to a brand's ERP; humans remain in the loop for quality assurance and outcome management. The system integrates with retail portals, promotion calendars, and ERP software and continually refines its models as deductions are processed. The company works with more than 200 retail brands, including Suave and ChapStick. The founders originally launched a different startup in 2020 and pivoted to Glimpse by 2024. Financially, Glimpse has raised $52 million to date, including a $10 million round last year that it now treats as seed and the newly announced $35 million Series A.
