Ramon.Space builds software-based computing systems for space that enable data to be processed, stored or moved to Earth or between spacecraft, with products for processing, storage and communication. The company focuses on radiation-hardened designs that aim to deliver higher computation while keeping power requirements low. Its technology has flown on about 50 space missions and is used on “a few hundred” satellites. Ramon.Space says the new capital will help scale its advanced computing products and organizational capacity to meet growing demand from satellite manufacturers, operators and service providers. Earlier this month it announced a manufacturing agreement with Ingrasys to establish what the two companies call the industry’s first high-volume space computing products production line. The company has offices in California and Israel and is nine years old. Ramon.Space develops space super-computing systems and a computing and storage platform for space applications. Led by CEO Avi Shabtai, the company leverages Manycore ML/AI/DSP processing technology to power next-generation earth observation, communications and data processing applications. Its systems enable space applications to be developed, updated and adapted in real time, creating new possibilities for satellite payloads and deep space missions. The company’s technology is already deployed in space and used in many satellites and more than 50 space missions across the solar system with zero failures. Ramon.Space will use the new capital to continue development of its computing solutions, support its expanding US and Israel operations, and expand its team globally. The firm operates out of Palo Alto and Yokneam, Israel.
