GoFintech Innovation is focused on a platform to convert real-world assets into digital tokens, targeting sectors like real estate and commodities. The company revised a prior fundraising plan and completed a private placing instead, collecting nearly HK$1.33 billion. It placed 745 million shares at HK$1.78 each, representing a little more than 8% of the company’s share capital. Inkeverse Group committed HK$300 million for a meaningful stake, and existing shareholder XtalPi acquired an additional 22 million shares. Most other investors remained undisclosed, indicating strong private interest. The proceeds are earmarked to accelerate development and deployment of its asset-tokenization platform. Shares of GoFintech Innovation, Inkeverse Group, and XtalPi rose in Hong Kong trading after the announcement.

Next Entertainment builds mobile apps to enable people to live stream for a living, with a focus on helping streamers grow followings and earn money. Its flagship app, MeMe, is available in Taiwan and lets users monetize through ads and virtual gifts while interacting with viewers. MeMe offers features such as a beautify camera option and a nearby discovery function to connect with local streamers. Next Entertainment aims to export Inke’s live-streaming model beyond China and will take a category-specific approach in the U.S., launching apps focused on special interests like sports. The company plans to gamify its apps so viewers and streamers unlock features by leveling up. The startup is led by founder and CEO Andy Zhong and has completed a $25M Series A.
