Overview
The Innovative Startups and SMEs Fund (“ISSF”) is a private sector managed fund making investments in innovative startups and early stage SMEs. The World Bank has invested USD 50 million in the Fund which was complimented by the Central Bank of Jordan with an additional USD 48 million bringing the total working capital of the ISSF to USD 98 million.

Gamiphy provides a digital loyalty and gamification platform enabling e-commerce merchants to launch customer loyalty programs with features such as points, referrals, rewards, branded games, and live commerce. The product is designed to boost conversion and retention for online retailers. Gamiphy was launched in 2017 and operates across MENA, Latin America, and Europe. The company has been growing its presence in those regions and is targeting further international expansion. In June 2022 Gamiphy raised $1.5M in a pre-Series A funding round to support that growth. The funding is intended to help expansion in Brazil and the rest of Latin America and to begin pursuing a presence in the U.S. market.
