Its sensors are designed to monitor quality content of raw materials, production conditions, and finished goods. Led by CEO Mike Slawson, the company offers a platform and initial products aimed at continuous quality control. Lumense closed a $2.65M Series B, with the funds intended to move its platform and initial products into volume production. The Series B was led by the GRA Venture Fund and The Coca-Cola Company, with participation from existing backers and unnamed new investors. Intelligent Systems Corporation had provided Series A funding in 2012.
