    Participated · Seed · Nov 2025

Founded in 2020 by Alberto Alfonso, Lorenzo Tecchio and Leonardo Colturato, Real Bowl applies a patented production method to create preservative-free dog meals that remain shelf-stable at room temperature. The Italian startup sources fresh, human-grade ingredients to offer the nutritional benefits of a fresh meal with the convenience of long storage. Its positioning taps into the growing demand for premium, sustainable pet nutrition. Real Bowl has participated in Terra Next, the bio-economy acceleration program launched by CDP Venture Capital, Intesa Sanpaolo Innovation Center and Cariplo Factory. Including the most recent seed financing, the company has attracted €3.7 million in total funding, which encompasses a €500 k convertible loan from Intesa Sanpaolo granted in 2024. The new capital will fund production scale-up and support a planned expansion into European markets. Revenue and user metrics have not been disclosed, but the company aims to leverage its patented technology to capture a share of the premium pet food segment.

  • WeRoad

    Participated · Equity · Oct 2021

WeRoad designs group trips grouped around shared interests and travel styles, typically hosting eight- to fifteen-person groups led by younger "group leaders" rather than traditional tour guides. Founded in 2017 by Paolo De Nadai, Fabio Bin, and Erika De Santi, the company structures itineraries (most lasting 10–12 days, with shorter weekend options available) to encourage social bonding and repeat travel. WeRoad works with more than 4,000 group leaders and says roughly 60% of travelers book another trip. In 2025 it launched WeMeet, an app for local in-person gatherings; the company reports more than 50,000 attendees across 35 cities and 150,000 app downloads. Financially, WeRoad reported €130 million in revenue in 2025, up 30% year over year, and took more than 100,000 travelers on trips that year. Since launch the company says it has organized travel for over 300,000 customers across more than 1,000 itineraries globally.

  • Wash Out Srl

    Led · Equity · Jun 2018

Wash Out offers an app-based service that performs car, scooter and motorcycle washes directly where vehicles are parked, including on public roads. Users select vehicle details (make, type, plate), report the location and choose date and time for the service. The company has been active in Milan since mid-2016 and in Rome since early 2018. Wash Out credits its incubation with Speed MI Up (Bocconi and the Chamber of Commerce of Milan) as fundamental to laying its foundations. After winning the B Heroes business talent program, the startup received an investment prize intended to support team expansion and marketing to increase awareness. Leadership highlights the environmental and social impact of the service and plans to use the funds primarily to broaden the team in uncovered functions and promote the brand.
