WorkChew operates a marketplace that lets remote and hybrid workers find and book on-demand workspaces inside partner hotels and restaurants. The startup was founded in 2018 and has launched in markets including Washington, D.C., Philadelphia, and Chicago, with planned expansion into New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Miami, Denver, Seattle and Atlanta. Its product includes corporate “All Access” memberships that companies can pay for, and it provides hospitality partners with marketing insights such as ordering habits, visit duration, and guest occupations. The company participated in accelerator programs including Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs Accelerator powered by Techstars, which founders say helped with mentorship and scaling. WorkChew is using new funding to grow its team, accelerate product development, expand into additional cities, and increase customer acquisition and supply for its network.
