Chekkit also deployed a COVID-19 USSD Help & Information Center in partnership with the African Union and the Africa CDC. The company plans to use new funding to expand its team and technological infrastructure and to launch a consumer-intelligence SaaS for brands that uses QR and USSD shortcodes for loyalty, engagement data aggregation, and rewards distribution.
