Founded in 2023 by Darpan Sharma and Vishal Mishra, Arthum offers enterprises, labour contractors, and workers a single digital infrastructure to manage attendance, payroll, contracts, statutory compliance, and payouts. Its ERP-style toolkit includes geo-tagged attendance, automated payroll, digital payments, and contract management features. Beyond workforce operations, the startup layers a neo-banking module that leverages verified worker data to distribute banking, insurance, credit, and investment products through partnerships with Yes Bank, ICICI Bank, IDFC, and more than 15 NBFCs. Arthum currently automates operations for over 300,000 labour contractors and has onboarded more than 600,000 workers, primarily in the Delhi-NCR region. The company plans to use its new capital to strengthen its technology stack, deepen its financial product suite, and expand into industrial hubs such as Dehradun, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jaipur, and Ahmedabad. This geographic expansion aims to capture large industrial clusters and scale its contractor and worker network further.
