Zetagen Therapeutics is advancing the Zeta Platform, a suite of intratumoral, tumoricidal therapies designed to kill breast cancer cells while minimizing systemic toxicity. Its lead candidate, ZetaMet (Zeta-BC-003), has completed a Phase 2a trial at the University of British Columbia showing complete response in treated bone lesions, full bone regeneration, and no skeletal-related events. Two additional assets are in the pipeline: ZetaMast (Zeta-MBC-005) for liver metastases, which is expected to enter a Phase 1b dose-escalation study in 1H 2026, and ZetaPrime (Zeta-PBC-007) for primary HR+ breast cancer, which has demonstrated superior survival and tumor suppression to Tamoxifen and Verzenio in a mouse model. The platform is protected by 70+ issued patents covering composition of matter and delivery technology. Proceeds from the recent Series B1 round will fund commercialization preparations for ZetaMet, accelerate ZetaMast clinical development, and complete preclinical work and GMP manufacturing for ZetaPrime. Headquartered in Syracuse, New York, the company plans to present additional data at upcoming San Antonio Breast Cancer Symposium meetings. No revenue or commercial user metrics were disclosed, underscoring its current focus on clinical validation and regulatory advancement.
