Insomnia Labs built CreatorFi to provide stablecoin-based and fiat lending that lets creators borrow against future earnings such as YouTube ad revenue and music royalties. The platform integrates real-time, AI-powered underwriting and embedded payments directly into existing creator platforms, enabling fast, flexible advances and instant conversion of stablecoin advances into local currencies via Coinbase Offramp. CreatorFi is built on Avalanche for secure, transparent, and scalable tokenization of creator income and uses the Coinbase Developer Platform to manage stablecoin liquidity and disbursements. Early adoption includes Yoola (a YouTube Multi-Channel Network with over 1,200 creators) and Record (a royalty infrastructure platform) leveraging the product for enterprise clients. Insomnia has secured an initial $12 million credit facility and a $5 million bond program tied to Yoola, with additional backing from real-world-asset investors. The company positions CreatorFi to scale as demand grows amid a creator-economy market projected to reach $1.49 trillion by 2034. Insomnia Labs, formerly Luna Market, is a NYC-based Web3 advertising and technology company focused on bringing brands into the metaverse. Led by Billy Huang and Jack Cameron, the firm uses proprietary in-house technologies to launch fully digital, scalable campaigns and to deploy advertising and technology services. Its core capabilities include NFTs, DAOs, metaverse activations, web3-native strategy, creative, data, and measurement. Clients include Under Armour, L’Oreal, WPP and Curry Brands; its work with Curry Brands and Under Armour involved large NFT campaigns and the launch of basketball-inspired NF3s linked to Stephen’s on-court performance during the NBA playoffs. Now operating as Insomnia Labs, the company is expanding its offerings to provide a full suite of advertising and technology services to help brands achieve their metaverse goals. The company raised USD 1.5M in the reported funding round.
