Hydrogenera, the brand of Green Innovation Ltd founded in 2016, develops modular products and systems that enable green hydrogen production via electrolysis. Its core product is alkaline electrolyzers that operate as mini refineries, converting one liter of water into two cubic meters of a two-to-one hydrogen‑oxygen mixture while optimizing, automating, and minimizing losses. The company focuses on B2B customers and primarily targets the Bulgarian market, serving larger polluters in sectors such as food and construction. Hydrogenera has implemented 82 projects across Bulgaria, Poland, and Turkey and integrated 56 hydrogen systems; some electrolyzers have been operating for more than four years. The team comprises twenty professionals, mostly engineers, and the company reported a 71% average annual growth in turnover over the last two years. Hydrogenera also participates in international initiatives, including membership in the European Clean Hydrogen Alliance and involvement in the Hydrogen Global initiative of the World Energy Council.
