Edelteq Holdings Berhad is a Malaysia-based technology firm dedicated to enhancing semiconductor manufacturing through advanced automated optical inspection (AOI) equipment. To accelerate commercialization, the company has formed Halovision System Sdn. Bhd., a joint venture with Halo Technologies Sdn. Edelteq positions these systems as cutting-edge solutions aimed at meeting the stringent quality demands of modern chip fabrication. The firm’s latest strategic collaboration underscores its commitment to strengthening Malaysia’s role in the global semiconductor value chain, in line with the country’s National Semiconductor Strategy. • Marseille Networks

    Participated · Series B · Apr 2011

Marseille Networks offers a proprietary Virtual Silicon rapid-prototyping platform that enables semiconductor design in software and real-time feature testing prior to tape-out. The company is preparing to begin production of its first physical chips, the VTV-1200 series Quad HD video upconverter processors targeted at BluRay DVD, AVR, All‑in‑One PC and set‑top box markets. Marseille says the platform lets OEMs validate features early, lowering adoption and manufacturing risks and enabling the company to generate revenue prior to chip fabrication. Management claims the company can move from development to production of a highly integrated 65nm chip with under $12 million in overall investment. The company cites product roadmaps that include rapid adoption of Quad‑HD, 4K, 5K and beyond in CE devices and displays. Marseille is based in Santa Clara and was a Red Herring Global 100 startup award winner.
