MicroPort CRM is a subsidiary of MicroPort Scientific that designs, develops, manufactures, and markets implantable pacemakers, implantable cardioverter‑defibrillators, cardiac resynchronization systems and ECG diagnostic solutions. Headquartered in Clamart, France, it has R&D teams in Clamart and Shanghai and manufacturing facilities in France, Italy, the Dominican Republic, and China. The company employs approximately 1,100 people and has implanted more than two million patients worldwide with its pacemakers and defibrillators. Recent product launches include the 2015 PLATINIUM family of ICDs, the 2019 ENO/TEO/OTO smallest pacemakers, and 2021 ALIZEA and BOREA pacemakers featuring Bluetooth technology and wireless remote monitoring. The company is known for small, long-lasting devices (e.g., the PLATINIUM family and world’s smallest pacemakers ENO/TEO/OTO) and innovations in CRT such as the SonR sensor and the AXONE ultra-thin left ventricular lead. Its content management system powers over 9,700 school and district websites across the U.S., Canada and Latin America, allowing administrators and teachers to manage web presence, calendars, news alerts, classes and homework. Edlio’s Sangha parent engagement app offers personalized school-to-home communication, mass notification, two-way messaging, online forms with e-signatures and built-in reminders. The company has offices in Los Angeles, Mountain View, Austin, Chicago, Mexico City and Vancouver, BC. Operating since 2011, Edlio plans to use new capital to expand and enhance its solutions through organic growth and acquisitions. Berkery Noyes served as advisor on the transaction. Edlio offers a Software-as-a-Service content management system for K-12 schools that centralizes school and class websites and communication. Its functionality includes news, calendars, forms, text and email notifications, admissions, and teacher class pages for homework and announcements. The platform is designed to facilitate interaction among teachers, administrators, parents and students through a variety of modules. Edlio also pursues strategic acquisitions to expand into adjacent K-12 administrative areas such as CRM, athletic department modules, data management and payments. Management intends to use capital to invest in sales and marketing, international growth and new product development to build next-generation school-to-home communications and data-driven capabilities for educators.
