    Declara builds a personalized learning platform that combines semantic search, predictive analytics and machine learning to generate a "Cognitive Graph" and individualized learning maps for users. The platform analyzes users' internet activity, searches, social interactions and content consumption to recommend tailored course material. Declara's technology is used by schools, universities and organizations, including Educational Services Australia, the University of Pennsylvania, Genentech, and Mexico’s SNTE, which is using the platform to help train 1.6 million teachers and administrators. The company is based in Palo Alto and also maintains offices in Boise, Idaho and Mexico. Declara raised an additional $9M from Linden Venture Fund and Singapore-based EDBI and plans to open an office in Singapore to distribute its platform across Asia. Its current Series A funding totals $25M after the recent tranche.
