The platform enables users to store and carry their virtual desktop, apps and files via USB drives or smartphones/iPods in mass storage mode, and also supports cloud access through integrations with Dropbox and Box. In addition to the consumer offering, the company sells a paid 'WorldDesk for Enterprise' product with added features to support and manage enterprise desktop virtualization deployments. WorldDesk said it raised an additional $1.25M in new funding and will use the capital to bolster engineering and sales in Europe and the Asia‑Pacific region.
