Overview
Luma Ventures is a Venture Capital fund that focuses on investments in enterprises that leverage Data Science to build their products or solutions. We support companies from early-growth to growth stages with capital requirements from EUR 0.75 million up to EUR 2 million. We are industry and business model agnostic. Our fund is based in Warsaw yet we do not limit ourselves to Poland only and we actively search for investment targets in the CEE region. At Luma Ventures we believe that acceleration activities and non-financial support are crucial for our portfolio companies to increase their probability of success. That is why we strive to provide the real smart money to our entrepreneurs by sharing our experience, knowledge, business contacts and social capital.

Cluify is an ad platform for in-store analytics that determines advertising IDs based on geographic and behavioral data gathered through Wi‑Fi and beacons inside venues. The platform helps physical stores monitor and measure who has visited their store or made a purchase, enabling retailers to craft better ad and marketing campaigns. Clients include physical retail stores, restaurants, and sports stadiums. Datarino Group says Cluify addresses a lack of comprehensive solutions in Polish and European markets for targeting campaigns based on real-world consumer behavior. Datarino Group is Wrocław-based and also develops mobile gaming apps under RinoApps and fintech KYC solutions under Datarino Finance. Financially, the company recently raised $1.6 million in a Series A led by Luma Ventures.

Datarino Group, founded in 2016 and based in Wrocław, Poland, builds Cluify, an online behavioral targeting platform that provides advertisers with lists of advertisement IDs for customer groups selected by geographic and behavioral criteria. The company was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in London, retaining offices in Warsaw, Torun and Tokyo. Coinfirm provides a blockchain anti-money laundering (AML) and combating the financing of terrorism (CFT) risk and compliance platform designed to increase transparency and security of blockchain transactions. The platform addresses AML/CTF, sanctions screening, and counterparty risk-management challenges across cryptocurrency, banking and business intelligence use cases. Led by co-founder and CEO Pawel Kuskowski, Coinfirm develops services and features to support those compliance needs. The company raised $700K in a funding round led by Luma Ventures and has opened the round to additional investors. Coinfirm intends to use the capital to expand and further build services and features onto its platform.
