Bridge offers an AI-driven lending platform focused on underwriting and origination for commercial borrowers, including retail suppliers and commercial real estate developers. Its technology-driven approach aims to simplify and accelerate commercial lending and to expand access to working capital across supply chains. Bridge counts large enterprise customers such as Walmart, Best Buy, Hilton, Hyatt, Wyndham, Choice Hotels, Dollar General, and Chipotle among its customer base. The company reported a team of about 30 employees and describes its operations as substantially more efficient due to AI. Recent plans tied to the new capital include expanding the platform's financing capabilities for CPG brands and suppliers fulfilling orders for major retailers. Financially, the company just received a $500 million investment from LuminArx Capital Management to support that expansion.
- Sierra Space
Led · Series C · Mar 2026
Sierra Space delivers satellites, spacecraft, reusable spaceplanes, hypersonic systems, propulsion solutions, and high-rate solar arrays to support critical national security and civil space missions. The company draws on more than 30 years of space-flight heritage and has participated in over 500 missions. Recent contract wins include a $450 million award to build more than four satellites for a National Security customer and an SDA Tranche 2 Tracking Layer contract worth up to $740 million to produce 18 missile-warning, tracking, and fire-control satellites. In 2025 the firm completed Critical Design Reviews for two major national security satellite programs and finished manufacturing and assembly of its Dream Chaser spaceplane, which is slated for a demonstration flight in late 2026. Sierra Space recently opened a power-station facility that manufactures high-rate solar arrays for satellite missions. The company has raised more than $2 billion in capital since 2021 and now carries an $8 billion post-money valuation following its latest round. These resources position Sierra Space to expand production capacity, secure additional defense contracts, and scale its mission-critical offerings.
- Nscale
Led · Debt Financing · Feb 2026
Nscale builds and operates vertically integrated AI data centers, controlling everything from renewable energy sourcing and facility construction to the compute stack and orchestration layer. Backed by Nvidia, the company is developing ‘Stargate Norway,’ an installation targeting 100,000 Nvidia GPUs by the end of 2026 with OpenAI as an initial customer. In October it also partnered with Microsoft and Dell to deploy roughly 200,000 Nvidia GPUs across four data centers in Europe and the U.S. The firm positions itself as a low-cost, green alternative for AI compute, pledging to reuse waste heat and invest in local skills and infrastructure. Its latest funding round values the company at $14.6 billion, placing it among Europe’s few AI decacorns. Nscale plans to use the new capital to accelerate build-outs in Europe, North America and Asia while expanding its engineering and operations teams. The company has hinted at a possible IPO as early as this year to further bolster its capital base. High-profile board appointments—including Sheryl Sandberg, Susan Decker and Nick Clegg—underscore its growing prominence.
- Axiom Space
Participated · Equity · Feb 2026
Axiom Space is building commercial orbital infrastructure, with headline programs that include a commercial space station and development of lunar spacesuits for NASA’s Artemis lunar exploration campaign. The company is pursuing a broader roadmap of space infrastructure and technology advancement and has positioned itself to define the next era of the space economy. Financially, Axiom recently closed an expanded funding round that grew to more than $525 million after an opportunistic extension that brought in new and existing investors. The company said the funds will be used to support its space station and spacesuit efforts as well as other roadmap priorities. Axiom has publicly welcomed NASA’s decision to continue the Commercial LEO Destinations program under its established approach, which it says aligns with its commercial station plans.
- Upgrade
Participated · Series G · Oct 2025
Founded in 2016 by LendingClub founder Renaud Laplanche, Upgrade began with small personal loans and has since broadened into a full suite of consumer-facing financial products including checking and savings accounts, a credit card, credit-health monitoring tools, and a travel-focused buy now, pay later (BNPL) offering. The company acquired BNPL travel firm Uplift for $100 million in 2023 to deepen its presence in that vertical. Upgrade’s lending portfolio now spans home-improvement and auto financing, which have surpassed $2 billion and $1 billion in total originations, respectively. Annualized revenue topped $1 billion in May 2024, more than doubling since its last fundraise, and the business has been cash-flow positive for three consecutive years. Management is concentrating on unifying the customer experience across products to encourage cross-selling. Laplanche indicated the firm is 12-18 months away from an IPO but sought fresh capital to buttress the balance sheet and enable employee liquidity ahead of a listing. Competition remains intense from neobanks and fintechs such as Chime, SoFi, PayPal, Block, Affirm, and Klarna.
