Overview
The Luxembourg Business Angel Network (LBAN) is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting angel investing and supporting early stage investments in Luxembourg. LBAN strives to create an ecosystem that helps support the industry by bringing together private investors, early-stage funds and promising entrepreneurial ventures. The LBAN has direct links to Government in order to ensure that the requirements of the early-stage industry are not only heard but acted upon. The LBAN is driven by a board of high-caliber individuals from within the industry and is supported by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce.

TerraSpark is developing a phased approach to space-based solar power, starting with commercialisation of radio-frequency wireless energy transmission on Earth to validate safety, efficiency, and regulatory requirements. The company aims to scale from terrestrial wireless power for industrial use to orbital systems capable of delivering continuous energy independent of weather or time of day. TerraSpark cites declining launch costs and advances in satellite manufacturing and orbital robotics as enablers for its roadmap. Near-term plans include pilot applications and live demonstration use cases, an orbital technology demonstrator targeted for 2027, and initial space-to-Earth transmission in 2028. The team is led by CEO Jasper Deprez with CTO Sanjay Vijendran and COO Matthias Laug. Financially, the company has raised over €5 million in a pre-seed round to fund technology development and upcoming pilots.

Kidola will use the €1.3M seed funding to grow its team, improve analytics and reporting features, and strengthen its presence in France. The platform targets daycare centers, crèches, and early childhood educators to reduce administrative burden and centralize operations. Kidola was founded in 2019 by Jonathan Kindermans, Quentin de Madre, and Simon Lelorrain and is headquartered on Route de Volmerange in Luxembourg.
