Overview
Luxembourg Space Agency is to develop the space sector in Luxembourg by fostering new and existing companies, developing human resources, facilitating access to funding and supporting academic research. The agency implements the national space economic development strategy, manages national space research and development programs, and leads the SpaceResources.lu initiative. Furthermore, we represent Luxembourg within the European Space Agency and space-related programs of the European Union and the United Nations.

AM 4 AM develops 3D-printable metal powders using a proprietary cold plasma technology that the company says produces sustainable, high-performance materials within a circular value chain. Its flagship powder, HiperAL, is marketed as one of the strongest aluminum alloys and is targeted at space, aeronautical, and automotive lightweight applications. The company plans to use new capital to expand facilities, increase production capacity, broaden its product portfolio, and explore new markets. AM 4 AM is also installing a complete powder development platform in its facility by the end of 2024 to improve its development capabilities. Founded in 2019 and supported by a Luxembourg business ecosystem, the firm previously participated in the Fit 4 Start accelerator and developed at the Foetz-based Technoport incubator. The recent €1.3 million seed round will be deployed to scale production and accelerate innovation efforts.
