  Moments.me offers a touch-first photo book editor for iPad that lets users drag-and-drop images from Facebook, Dropbox, Photo Stream or the Camera Roll into a single hardcover photo book product. The app integrates with Walgreens’ printing API so completed books can be picked up within hours at roughly 4,000 U.S. locations, and the team says it won Walgreens’ API developer contest. The company is Tel Aviv–area based and was started a year ago; the team consists of five full-time employees and one freelancer. Moments.me was born from the founders’ prior mobile development work (including HP webOS projects) and aims to simplify and speed up book creation versus existing workflows. The product launched as a free iTunes app with a limited-time coupon reducing book cost to $15, but early releases suffered stability issues including crashes when changing layouts and checkout/upload errors with Walgreens’ endpoint. The company plans an iPhone version and has a forthcoming app update addressing the album-ordering and crash issues.
