  Locale operates an upscale aparthotel platform that partners with owners and developers to offer hotel-quality amenities combined with residential space and privacy. The company leads with intentional design and technology to deliver a curated guest experience across hundreds of converted apartments. Locale currently operates in major U.S. markets including Austin, Houston, Dallas, San Francisco, Nashville and Minneapolis and employs over 30 full-time team members. Revenue has grown 200% year-over-year while guest satisfaction scores remain among the highest in the lodging industry. Locale highlights partnerships with multifamily groups such as Greystar, The Dinerstein Companies and AMLI and is pursuing full-building projects to expand branded, end-to-end experiences. Planned uses of new capital include digital product innovation, enhanced in-room offerings and executive-level hiring to support expansion into additional markets like Denver, Nashville and Charleston. Locale partners with owners and developers of urban apartment buildings to offer guests the amenities of an upscale boutique hotel with the freedom and comfort of residential living. Led by founder Nitesh Gandhi, the company operates designed, furnished apartments for leisure, business, and extended-stay travelers. Launched in Austin in late 2016, Locale has expanded to Houston and Nashville and now leases and manages more than 150 furnished apartments for short and extended stays. The company plans further expansions with developers of upscale Class A multifamily properties in San Francisco, Houston’s Texas Medical Center, Santa Monica, and Denver, with those properties slated to be available for bookings in Fall 2019. Locale intends to use new funding to enhance accommodations and technology, grow brand awareness, and expand into new markets.
