ZuBlu is a Hong Kong-based travel platform focusing on scuba diving and underwater adventure travel across Asia. Founded in 2017 by Adam Broadbent and Matthew Oldfield, the platform helps users search, compare and book vetted dive resorts and experiences. Every operator on the platform is vetted for sustainable practices, including adherence to the UN-backed Green Fins code of conduct. ZuBlu said it grew its resort partner network by 46% and its member community by 425% this year. The company plans to use the funding to enhance platform features, expand its resort portfolio and experience offerings, and increase marketing outreach. Wavemaker Partners characterized ZuBlu as having strong traction and high capital efficiency, positioning it to benefit from pent-up travel demand as restrictions ease.
