HMNC Brain Health is developing orally available, precision therapies for depressive and other neuropsychiatric disorders. Its lead programs are Ketabon (KET01), an oral extended-release ketamine formulation that showed rapid antidepressant effects with reduced dissociative side effects in Phase 2 studies, and Nelivabon (BH-200), an oral vasopressin V1b receptor antagonist that delivered promising results in the Phase 2b OLIVE study using a proprietary genetic method for patient selection. Both candidates are in clinical development and not yet approved by regulators. The company plans to use the newly raised capital to support late-stage clinical development and to prepare Phase 3 programs for these assets. HMNC has entered a strategic licensing agreement granting MEDICE exclusive marketing rights for KET01 in Europe, with HMNC set to receive tiered double-digit royalties and milestone payments. The company is exploring expanding its programs to other neurological and psychiatric indications.

Selfapy provides online courses grounded in cognitive behavioral therapy to reduce symptoms of depression and generalized anxiety disorder. The company recently added two new courses for binge-eating disorder and bulimia nervosa, becoming the first reimbursed DiGA provider for eating disorders in Germany. Led by Co-CEOs Nora Blum and Adham Kassab, Selfapy focuses on expanding its digital therapeutics portfolio. The company plans to use new funding to develop additional digital therapeutics, grow its presence in the German market, and enter other European markets. The company was founded in February 2016 and is based in Berlin, Germany. Selfapy operates an online platform of therapy courses designed to help people with mental illness. The courses are supplemented by support from a psychologist via telephone or chat and are not intended to fully replace traditional therapy. The company is based in Berlin. With the new capital it plans to expand B2B sales, develop its app, and deepen cooperation with health insurance companies. Since April some courses have been reimbursable by insurers and others are expected to follow. Selfapy recently raised a seven-digit investment estimated between €1 million and €2 million from IBB Beteiligungsgesellschaft and High‑Tech Gründerfonds.

anvajo develops and sells a portable point-of-care fluid analysis platform called the “fluidlab,” which combines spectroscopy and microscopy with custom sample carriers. The fluidlab integrates holographic microscopy, machine‑learning‑supported image analysis, mobile embedded hardware, function‑integrated optics, and meso‑ and micro‑fluidic sample carriers. The company positions the device for use in human and veterinary medicine as well as environmental, water, food and feed analysis. anvajo says the system can deliver fast diagnostic testing of blood, urine and sperm immediately at the point of need. The company is a spin‑off from Dresden University of Technology and is led by CEO Felix Lambrecht; Stefan Fraedrich founded the business. Financially, the firm announced a €17.7M Series A to support its planned launch into human medicine markets.
