Wikifolio operates a platform that lets traders turn their portfolios into fully fledged financial products called “wikifolios,” which are listed on Börse Stuttgart. Investors can purchase wikifolio certificates through various online brokerages to follow and invest in professional trading strategies. Each trade, including execution price and fees, is trackable in real time on Wikifolio and partner sites. The site went live in Germany in 2012 and has since seen investors in Germany and Austria place more than €190 million into wikifolio-certificates. The Austrian company reported it broke even in the first quarter of 2014. Wikifolio plans to use new capital to expand beyond its home country and Germany.
