  • Uncle Arnie’s

    Participated · Series A · Aug 2026

Uncle Arnie's is a California-born beverage company built on a two-track model, selling higher-dose cannabis beverages through licensed dispensaries while distributing hemp-derived THC drinks through liquor, grocery, and convenience retail. Its lineup spans 2.5mg and 10mg hemp-infused iced teas and lemonades, 10mg ready-to-drink shots shipped nationwide, and higher-dose cannabis beverages and shots sold in dispensaries, alongside functional energy and sleep shots. The company became the top-selling cannabis beverage brand in California before expanding into the hemp-derived category in 2024, and it now leads hemp beverage sales in Minnesota, Ohio, and New Jersey across 16 state markets, reporting $8.4 million in revenue for 2024 and close to 100% year-over-year growth since inception. Uncle Arnie's plans to enter additional state markets, launch new product lines, and build out its sales, marketing, and e-commerce infrastructure. It operates from Covina, California under the legal entity SS Beverages 1, Inc., is led by founder and CEO Theo Terris, and employed roughly 40 people at the time of its Series A with plans to nearly double that. Financially, Uncle Arnie's has raised a total Series A of $9.5 million, comprising a $7.5 million round in August 2025 and a $2 million extension in August 2026; the articles do not disclose the amount of its June 2023 preferred equity raise or provide a valuation.

  • LEEF Brands

    Led · Equity · Mar 2026

LEEF Brands operates cultivation and extraction assets to supply biomass and produce cannabis concentrates, oils, and extracts. Its flagship asset is Salisbury Canyon Ranch in California, which the company is developing toward a 180-acre permit and projects will be one of the largest licensed cannabis farms in the state. Management says increased internal supply from Salisbury Canyon Ranch is expected to lower input costs, improve product consistency, and support higher operating margins; initial production from the site has already contributed to improved margins in the company's Q3 results. The company emphasizes product safety, targeting low-cost, high-quality concentrates that meet strict testing standards for pesticides and heavy metals. LEEF has signaled plans to commence construction on the expansion and expects to complete the project in the stated timelines, positioning the business for broader supply into other markets as regulatory reforms progress. The company also recently added experienced cannabis investor-operator Jamie Mendola to its board to support growth and scaling efforts.
