- Metreecs
Participated · Seed · Oct 2025
Founded in 2024 by Thibaut Pellegrin, Martin Dimitrov and Elie Dufeu, Metreecs tackles one of retail’s biggest pain points: accurately predicting consumer demand. Its cloud software combines more than 30 statistical and machine-learning models to automate 90 % of manual forecasting work, helping retailers align inventory with real-time market trends. Early adopters in Europe and the United States report inventory reductions of up to 15 %, sales lifts of up to 5 % and an ROI ten times implementation costs within the first months, rising to twenty times after one year. The company plans to open a Milan office in the coming months to spearhead its expansion into the Italian market while accelerating commercial growth in France and the U.S. Fresh capital will also be used to broaden the platform’s AI capabilities for demand prediction and stock management. With a recent €2.7 million seed raise, Metreecs is now positioned to scale its customer base and product suite. Key backers include Y Combinator, Monte Carlo Capital, Kima Ventures, BPI France and Founders Future, signaling strong institutional support for its growth ambitions.
- Scout AI
Participated · Seed · Apr 2025
Scout AI develops vision-language-action-based AI models and command-and-control software for military autonomous vehicles and drones. Its flagship model effort, "Fury," is being trained to operate and command assets for logistical missions and, in time, weaponized systems; the company also projects a command product called "Ox" for soldier-facing orchestration of multiple platforms. Scout conducts real-world training at a range it calls Foundry on a U.S. military base, using ATVs and drones to generate reinforcement learning data and to test agents in challenging off-road conditions. The startup participates in Army experiments—its technology is among vendors used by the 1st Cavalry Division—and has active contracts with DARPA and the Army Applications Laboratory. Scout says it currently builds on pretrained models from major hyperscalers while planning to invest its capital in training and compute to develop its own foundation models.
- TastyUrban
Participated · Series A · Mar 2025
TastyUrban builds and licenses delivery-first food brands to underutilised restaurant and retail partners, enabling host kitchens to generate incremental revenue without significant additional costs. Its end-to-end platform helps partners optimise kitchen performance, processes, and cost structure while granting small business owners low-investment access to branded concepts. The company uses dual market research to create consumer brands (including Birdie Birdie, Nanuh, and Fly Dumplings) and is developing additional fast-casual and health-centric concepts for Europe. TastyUrban currently partners with 80+ restaurants across 25 German cities and distributes via delivery platforms such as UberEats, Wolt, and Lieferando. The team says its model converts low-capacity spaces into host kitchens and accelerates time-to-market for new products. The company recently raised funding to support brand rollouts and planned international expansion. TastyUrban partners with international chefs to develop innovative, delivery-focused food brands based on local trends. Its first brand, BirdieBirdie, is an American fried chicken and sandwich concept offering items like chicken tenders, wings, and sweet pepper poppers. The company is also launching a Birria Tacos concept inspired by the Mexican state of Jalisco. TastyUrban plans to use the €1.5m seed funding to launch additional brands and expand its business across Germany and Europe. The round was led by Earlybird with participation from angel investors including Alexander Artope and Ronny Shibley. Founded in 2022 and based in Berlin, the company was started by Felix Chrobog, Marc Hansell and Gerry Pidgeon.
- CorFlow Therapeutics AG
Participated · Series B · Sep 2024
CorFlow Therapeutics is developing the CoFl system to provide timely, accurate detection of microvascular obstruction (MVO) in the cath lab immediately after stent implantation and to enable localized delivery of therapeutics to the microvasculature. The technology integrates with standard guide catheter and wire access and is intended to both diagnose MVO and deliver treatments at the point of care. CorFlow has reported recent data from over 70 patients in its first-in-human MOCA I trial and an extensive preclinical program supporting its approach. The company plans a MOCA II pivotal IDE trial in the US and Europe to validate CoFl against contrast-enhanced cardiac MRI and to support US market clearance. It will also run an adaptive platform therapy study in Europe to evaluate multiple therapeutic agents delivered via CoFl and measure clinical and imaging outcomes up to six months. Headquartered in Baar, Switzerland and founded in 2016, CorFlow is collaborating with academic partners including the University of Bern, ETH Zurich and University Hospital Zurich. CorFlow Therapeutics develops the Controlled Flow Infusion (CoFITM) system and a proprietary dynamic Microvascular Resistance (dMVRTM) concept to detect and treat microvascular obstruction (MVO) in the cathlab. The CoFITM system is positioned as a combined diagnostic and therapeutic technology that enables detection and low-flow infusion treatment of MVO immediately after reopening epicardial arteries. Seed proceeds will finance the First-in-Man MOCA I (MVO with CoFITM System Assessment) safety and feasibility trial in 40 acute heart attack patients. MOCA I will measure peri-procedural dMVR and compare those values to post-procedure contrast-enhanced MRI, and will investigate low-flow infusion of approved therapeutic agents to reduce MVO. The company cites that around 50% of acute heart attack patients develop MVO, translating to roughly 200,000 patients annually, and notes MVO is an independent predictor of heart failure and death. CorFlow has presented nonclinical data at major cardiology meetings (ACC, EuroPCR, ESC) and plans further presentation at TCT; it aims to raise a Series A in 2019 to secure longer-term R&D, clinical, and regulatory activities. CorFlow Therapeutics is developing proprietary technologies to diagnose and treat microvascular obstructions (MVO) in severe heart attack patients. Its technologies aim to enable interventional cardiologists to diagnose and treat MVO, potentially reducing short- and long-term complication rates. The company is led by CEO and co-founder Jon H. Hoem. Headquartered in Baar, Switzerland, CorFlow has raised more than CHF5M in seed funding to date. It completed a CHF 2.6M first close of a Seed+ round to advance clinical development. The company plans to use the funds to finance the 80-patient First-in-Man MOCA (MVO with CoFI™ System Assessment) clinical trial in Europe and intends the Seed+ as the basis for a larger Series A to secure long-term R&D, clinical, and regulatory activities.
