  Immerse provides instructor-led, multiplayer VR language learning experiences in the metaverse, developed in partnership with top language schools. Led by CEO Quinn Taber, the platform offers immersive scenarios—collaborative problem solving on a deserted island, cooking in a chef kitchen, painting in an art studio, storytelling around a campfire, and trying on outfits at a shopping center—to build speaking and listening skills. It serves students across the Asian, European and Latin American markets. The company plans to launch a consumer-facing VR world languages app on the Meta Quest store starting with Spanish this summer, followed by French in the fall and then German, Japanese and Italian. Financially, Immerse raised $9M in a Series B that brings total capital raised to $11.5M. The company intends to use the funds to grow its global team from 12 to 35 over the next four months, invest in product innovation, and expand onto other major VR platforms.
