Participated · Equity · Nov 2023
Offr offers a digital transaction platform aimed at helping real estate agents manage and complete property offers and transactions. The company says it has processed 50,000 offers to date, representing €20bn in total value. Leadership includes Robert Hoban and co‑founders Philip Farrell and Niall Dawson. In a LinkedIn announcement the team framed growth plans around expanding the company’s ability to help agents “at home and abroad.” The post highlights continued support from banks and industry backers as the company scales. The funding is positioned to support product and geographic expansion and to further improve the agent-facing transaction experience. Offr offers a white-label, device-agnostic platform that digitizes the end-to-end property transaction process for agents and buyers, enabling offers, viewings, deposits, solicitor connections and contract signing online. Launched ten months prior to the article by Robert Hoban (CEO), Niall Dawson (CTO) and Philip Farrell (CCO), the product lets agents track sales or leases in real time and gives buyers tools to submit offers, upload ID/proof of funds and complete transactions via smartphone. Behind the interface Offr connects agents with solicitors and banks to automate and speed the legal and financial steps of a sale or lease. The platform digitizes over 85% of the buying and selling process for agents and their customers. Offr plans to use the new funding to accelerate international expansion and to further develop its transaction infrastructure to cover all property types, including traditional and auction sales, residential lettings and commercial sales and leases. The company also participated in the Barclays London Accelerator, powered by Techstars, and was selected for follow-on investment from the cohort. Financially, the business reported the seed raise and cumulative funding information in this round.

Knock is targeting the 64% of U.S. homeowners who must simultaneously buy and sell, providing certainty, convenience and cost efficiency during the transition. Its model eliminates the need for contingent offers and delivers liquidity to sellers up front. The firm positions itself as a full-stack solution, handling purchase, sale and related logistics within one integrated experience. Although specific revenue or user metrics were not disclosed, the company’s recent capital raise suggests continued investment in platform growth and geographic expansion.
