National Social Value Fund

Calgary, AB, Canada

Overview

The National Social Value Fund is a registered Canadian non-profit society that serves a network of community-focused Social Value Fund teams across Canada. These Social Value Funds exist to support social purpose businesses and social enterprises who are under-served by the current impact investing market in Canada. We engage with a blend of impact investors, foundations, government, and other aligned capital providers to accomplish this. Through the Social Value Fund student program, we provide experiential education, support and resources to empower undergraduate students in these communities to create, manage, and run their own locally-focused teams. These student teams identify and fill funding gaps identified in their communities, and support their peers in other communities to do the same.
