    Participated · Series C · Sep 2021

H2O Hospitality builds an ICT-based, integrated hotel management system (CMS, PMS, RMS, FMS) that automates front- and backend processes including reservations, room management and front desk duties. The company says its system can reduce fixed operating costs by 50% while increasing revenue by as much as 20%. Founded in 2015 in South Korea, H2O expanded to Japan in 2017 through acquisitions and bought contactless hotel solution ImGATE and creator startup Replace in 2021. It currently operates approximately 7,500 accommodations across Tokyo, Osaka, Seoul, Busan and Bangkok. Revenue grew by as much as 30% during the pandemic, though growth has moderated to roughly 5–15% post COVID-19; onboarding of properties and tools like automated dynamic pricing and diverse sales channels have driven recent revenue. H2O plans further expansion in South Korea and Japan and intends to enter Singapore and Indonesia in Q4 2022 while investing in R&D to advance customer channel solutions and contactless check-in systems for its Southeast Asia push.
