TechBBQ organizes an annual tech summit in Copenhagen that serves as one of the leading gatherings for the Danish and Nordic startup ecosystem. The event began in 2013 as a small park gathering and has grown into a prominent September summit. The organisation emphasises creating high-quality, value-driven experiences for founders, investors and partners rather than pursuing maximum headcount. TechBBQ says it focuses on ‘quality over quantity’ and aims to further internationalise its annual Summit. The company has grown its team from eight employees in 2020 to almost 30 today. Financially, it has secured funding to support this expansion and internationalisation effort.
