  Wiz Freight provides end-to-end shipment management solutions including price discovery, booking management, shipment tracking, documentation, shipment finance, and customer support. Founded in 2020 and headquartered in Chennai, the company aims to expand operations and grow after a funding hiatus. Filings state the latest Series B proceeds will be used for general corporate operations, growth, and expansion. In FY22 Wiz Freight's operating revenue grew 18.2X to Rs 327.5 crore and it reported an Rs 8 crore profit; FY23 figures were not disclosed. Together with a $37 million Series A led by Tiger Global in March 2022, the company has raised over $50 million to date. The company plans to continue scaling its platform and services using the new capital. Wiz Freight is a full-stack digital freight management platform that allows enterprises and small businesses to automate their cross-border logistics operations. Founded exactly a year ago in Chennai by logistics veterans Ramkumar Govindarajan and Ramkumar Ramachandran, the company began with ocean import solutions from China. It has expanded to offer export and import solutions via ocean and to and from major international trade locations, providing door-to-door multimodal logistics. Wiz serves over 200 customers across India, Southeast Asia and the Middle East, with clients including the Tatas, Adani Group, Mahindra, Aditya Birla, Renew Power, Hero Motors, ITC and Marico. The company raised USD 3.5 million in a seed round led by Axilor, with participation from Arali Ventures, Foundamental and angel investors Ramakant Sharma and Daniel Richner. Lead investor Axilor focuses on seed funding in small business digitisation, commerce and logistics and has so far seed-funded 42 startups.
