Continuum World is an NFT MMO for web browsers and smartphones that blends free-to-play and play-to-earn gameplay. The game centers on exploring, gathering and trading resources, owning land and NFTs (ERC-721), leveling UMi avatars, and building farms and power generators to increase yield and earn $UM, the native in-game currency. Lands are a fixed-supply NFT with varying sizes and attributes; other in-game NFTs include UMi avatars, plantations, fish farms and power generators. $UM is described as the medium of exchange, a governance token for a future DAO, and will be used for customization, upgrades, staking and marketplace transactions. Continuum World is being developed by Playchain Pte. LTD in Singapore and completed a $2.1M private funding round that closed in two weeks. The project signed launchpad deals with Seedify and TrustPad for token IGOs on October 1 and October 3, followed by an exchange listing the next week.
