On July 20, 2021, TMRW completed a $105M Series C financing that included both equity and debt. The company intends to use the proceeds to accelerate global expansion, advance product innovation, develop consumer awareness of the platform, and support future business development opportunities. The platform's core capabilities focus on traceability and safe maintenance of reproductive tissue at cryogenic temperatures to reduce human error and improve lab workflows. TMRW Life Sciences offers a combined physical and digital chain-of-custody solution that tracks and protects eggs, embryos, and sperm using RFID-enabled hardware and a SaaS digital platform. Its software-guided embryology and cryo-management system is designed to eliminate sample-management errors reported in the fertility space, including loss of samples and implantation mix-ups. The company reports five leading clinic partners that together account for 10% of U.S. IVF activity and are preparing for a commercial rollout in Q1 2020. TMRW is led by co-CEOs Alan Murray and Joshua Abram; the third co-founder is Dr. Jeffrey Port. With the Series B closing, TMRW appointed Melanie Goldey as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer; Goldey was previously CFO of Refinery29.
