The company was founded in 2023 by Volodymyr Panchenko and Mohammed (Hamudi) Naanaa and is based in Redwood City, California. In June 2024 Portal.ai completed a $5.0M pre-seed funding round. The round included angel capital provided under SAFE agreements with a stated cap of $50 million. Portal.ai’s product focus is on delivering task-specific AI applications and orchestration for SMB workflows.

Xenocor is a Salt Lake City, Utah–based medical device company led by CEO Charles DeCoster IV. The company designs, develops and markets medical devices, notably the Saberscope system, which is FDA cleared for diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy and endoscopic surgery within thoracic and peritoneal cavities, including female reproductive organs. Xenocor raised $10M in a Series A financing to support its commercial plans. The company intends to use the funds for the 2023 launch of the Saberscope and to continue executing on its innovation roadmap. Michael J. Hennessy Jr. of GenHenn Capital will join Xenocor's board of directors in conjunction with the funding.
