123Dentist is a majority dentist-owned Canadian dental support organization that launched its national platform in July 2017 and operates offices in Vancouver and Toronto. The company supports a decentralized network of over 70 practices across Ontario, British Columbia, Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec, offering back-office, marketing, purchasing, and operational services while allowing clinic-level ownership and flexibility for dentists. Its 'dentist first, patient focused' strategy emphasizes practice-by-practice customization, regional managers empowered to make practice-level decisions, and partnership models that can include minority ownership for dentists. 123Dentist has raised $425 million to accelerate expansion across Canada and to strengthen back-office, marketing, and operational capabilities for its partners. The financing includes an equity investment from Peloton Capital Management and a refinancing of existing syndicated credit facilities co-led by Royal Bank of Canada and Bank of Montreal. Peloton is contributing dental-industry expertise — including the addition of Pat Bauer, CEO of Heartland Dental, to 123Dentist’s board — to support the company's growth plans.
