  • Fidzup

    Participated · Equity · Nov 2016

Fidzup, launched in 2011 by Olivier Magnan-Saurin and Anh-Vu Nguyen, is a Paris-based mobile marketing platform for retailers. Its performance-oriented platform is designed to generate in-store traffic, target nearby mobile audiences with brand affinity, retarget customers based on in-store behaviour, and serve ads to competitors' customers and prospects. The company serves clients including Galeries Lafayette, Darty, Grand Optical, GEMO, Timberland, La Halle, Renault, Peugeot, Mercedes, Cultura and FDJ. Fidzup employs more than 20 people. It raised €3m in funding and intends to use the proceeds to accelerate its commercial and technological development.

  • Oxent

    Led · Series A · Oct 2010

Oxent operates Gamersband, a geo-social network that connects nearby video gamers to encourage face-to-face play rather than virtual-only interaction. Users can create “challenging zones” and tournaments tied to physical locations, compete in local rankings, and discover players nearby for events. Gamersband launched in late September and has attracted roughly 4,000 beta testers to date. The company plans to monetize by selling access to video-game publishers and retail stores for organizing local events and marketing campaigns. Oxent recently raised $500,000 in a Series A led by French VC Petit Poucet to help grow the network. Founders Antoine Frankart and Matthieu Dallon have extensive prior experience in gaming communities and events, which may aid user acquisition and partnerships.
